Major Isaac Villarreal is a 30 year law enforcement veteran and joined the ranks of Precinct 3 in 2017. Throughout his career, he has served as a street patrol officer, Gang Task Force Division and the Criminal Investigations Division. He also served in the Narcotics Division and was assigned to the Internal Revenue Service, Customs, Federal Bureau of Investigations, Housing Urban Development and the Drug Enforcement Administration. Before coming to Precinct 3, he served as an Investigator with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, where he was assigned to the Public Integrity Division and the Trial Division. Major Villarreal currently commands all criminal investigations and oversees the Crime Interdiction Unit, Warrant Division, Environmental Crimes Division and the Fleet.
