

Self-Aid/Buddy-Aid (SABA) refers to the emergency medical procedures used by non-medical personnel to treat themselves or wounded peers. Core skills focus on immediate, life-threatening trauma management: applying tourniquets to stop severe bleeding, packing wounds, clearing airways, treating for shock, and applying pressure dressings.
